Hunter Hill is a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point, a combat veteran, Georgia State Senator and president of Tommy Newberry Coaching, LLC. A life-long student of leadership, Hunter graduated from the Airborne, the Air Assault, and the US Army Ranger Schools before leading five different teams on three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
In June 2001, Hunter took command of a rifle platoon with the 101st Airborne Division, which he led into battle in Afghanistan in 2002. Hunter subsequently led another platoon into battle in Iraq in 2003, and led a team that mentored and trained the Afghan National Police in 2007-2008. In addition to his combat roles, Hunter also served as a General’s aide in Iraq, and earned two Bronze Stars, the Meritorious Service Medal, and two Army Commendation Medals.
After retiring from the military as a Captain, Hunter entered the private sector, implementing successful business plans and managing projects in both the real estate and security industries. As a Georgia State Senator since 2013, Hunter has also been serving the residents of Georgia’s 6th District. Hunter was honored by the Chamber of Commerce as the Freshman Legislator of the Year, among other awards.
As President of Tommy Newberry Coaching, Hunter leads and manages the company. With online coaching programs nationwide, and renowned live coaching programs, Tommy Newberry Coaching impacts thousands of lives each year by helping clients clarify and implement the right priorities to achieve maximum success.
