As president of the Kiwanis Club of Atlanta, I welcome you to our web site on behalf of the men and women of Georgia’s First Kiwanis Club, founded in 1918 and still today an inclusive welcoming group dedicated to making a difference for children and our community.
Through our sponsorship of Builders Club, Key Club, and Circle K, we serve children and young people by teaching Kiwanis values and the joy of serving others, emphasizing spiritual values rather than material ones. Our members are active with children and in the community: planting trees at Hillside Hospital; joining with the Boys and Girls Clubs for their Kids Cultural Challenge Day; meeting the boys and girls at Camp Kiwanis; reading to Headstart children and providing them each with a new book every month; or greeting our troops coming home or shipping out at Hartsfield-Jackson.

Is an inclusive, downtown civic club. Every week at lunchtime, prominent speakers deliver compelling and interesting programs of civic importance. Lifelong professional and personal relationships grow among members, who are both long-time and emerging city and metro leaders. We give primacy to life’s human and spiritual values, and offer opportunities for members to connect with and serve the community in meaningful ways.

The 2010 Kiwanis Kids Cultural Challenge (KKCC) will be held on Saturday, October 2nd. The KKCC is a long standing annual event of the Kiwanis Club of Atlanta and the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta.
Overall, the experience of the KKCC provides a unique opportunity for Boys & Girls Club members to come together and enjoy each other in a celebration of cultural diversity. Last year 25 Clubs and over 500 children participated at the event..
If you have volunteered to help with the event in the past you know what a rewarding and fun experience the KKCC is. If you are a new KCOA member you have a treat in store!
Information on how to sign up to volunteer for the event will be forthcoming in the next few weeks. For now -
