All In Person Meetings through May 12th have been cancelled.
Dear Fellow Kiwanians!
In response to the recent recommendation of ‘Social Distancing’ due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the KCA Board of directors have cancelled all in person meetings through May 12th. We will be having a few virtual club meetings and information will be posted on line, in the bulletin and emailed to members.
We will continue to follow the guidance from the State of Georgia and the CDC, and will keep you updated should there be any changes for Kiwanis Club of Atlanta. We all have a role to play in preventing the spread of coronavirus in our community and we ask every member to do their part:
Follow CDC that include regular hand washing for at least 20 seconds, avoiding touching your face, and covering your cough or sneeze.
Use non-contact forms of greeting instead of physical contact such as shaking hands.
Keep at least 6 feet of distance between individuals at meetings and events whenever possible.
The decision to cancel our upcoming meetings was not easy, however our KCA member’s health and safety are paramount during these challenging times. Thank you for understanding as we do our part to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
We will continue to keep you updated over the next few weeks.
Social media is a great way to stay connected during these disconnected times. We created a Google document to update your fellow Kiwanians about what you, your companies and your organizations are doing right now.
The Kiwanis Club of Atlanta has started Virtual Club Meetings through Zoom! You can now log in from your computer, tablet or phone and join in the virtual meeting at Noon!
Are you having trouble receiving the KCA Bulletins and other email communications? It appears that computer systems/servers who use Symantec are having trouble getting communications from our ClubRunner system delivered to their inboxes. While we work on this issue with ClubRunner, I have an email list serve set up through Outlook to send the bulletins out each week to those who need it. And if you are having trouble receiving your quarterly bills, I can send them to you through QuickBooks. Just email me at KiwanisClubAtlanta@gmail.com and I will add you to the list!
