“The Power of Partnership – How Kiwanis and UNICEF are Changing the World"

Jeremy Cole is currently the Managing Director for the Southeast Regional Office of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, where he leads a team that works throughout the Southeast to increase support for UNICEF’s work.  His work includes managing a board, expanding the regional major gifts pool, overseeing annual UNICEF events in Atlanta, expanding the organization’s footprint into South Florida, and bringing exposure about UNICEF’s work to communities throughout the Southeast.  Previous to this position, he served as the Deputy Director and a Major Gifts Officer in the same office.

Prior to coming to the U.S. Fund, Jeremy was the Director of Development for the International Community School, a charter school in DeKalb County, Georgia.  Jeremy has over 16 years total working in all aspects of the non-profit sector, including running programs for resettled refugee families and children in metro Atlanta, managing a program for homeless families, and teaching English as a Second language.

Jeremy received his Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from Georgia State University, his M.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Georgia received, and his B.A. from Oberlin College. In 2012, Jeremy was selected as a Marshall Memorial Fellow, travelling to Europe for three weeks to learn about Europe’s civic institutions.  He currently serves on the board of the Georgia Alliance for School-Based Health Centers.
